About the job
As our Junior Buyer you will be responsible for the accurate and timely management of our fabrics – contacting suppliers, preparing for meetings, sampling, and testing for new collections to get everything ready for other teams and ultimately, our customers. You will:
- Manage our fabrics, creating import files and ensuring the system is up to date
- Set up and maintain master folders and technical sheets
- Create sample orders for garments, sample lengths and material cards for ateliers, track sample production
- Tracking sample material orders from suppliers (call-off & shipping), checking material, processing invoices
- Provide information and fabric swatches to sales and account managers
- Arrange input about collection fabrics for the Creative/Marketing department
- Ensure all POS materials are developed in time for your designated products
- Follow-up customer service requests and organize related details
- Work with the team to improve processes and drive automation of our IT systems
- Analyse defects and customer feedback, and find solutions together with our suppliers
- Daily contact with suppliers and ateliers around the world
