Junior Purchasing Coordinator

About the job

Your purpose is to help us ensure our stock is always replenished and available to order – collaborating with various departments to manage our materials availability. You will:

· Arrange and track shipping status of materials for ateliers

· Maintain relationships with suppliers to keep your information up to date

· Check and follow up orders with suppliers

· Update shipment dates based on availability information

· Get up to date information for customers including out of stock, sold out, and defective fabrics

· Check system notification emails and follow up

· Work closely with the Finance team of supplier invoice-related questions

· Create a quarterly closing list based on supplier holidays

· Continuously working on IT improvement projects

About you

You’ll ideally have:

· At least a bachelor’s degree in a related field (ie. Supply chain, Fashion)

· An affinity for and knowledge of fashion and fabrics

· Fluency in English (advantage if you can speak Dutch or other European language too)

· Experience with Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

· A sales-driven mentality, with a focus on long-term results

· Great communication and team-work skills
