About the job
As a Junior Business developer, you’ll work towards clear goals while being part of the Acquisition Team and the General Sales Team. You’ll focus on building new partnerships, identifying market potential, and supporting the onboarding of new accounts — while developing your expertise in custom menswear and international sales.
This role offers a hands-on introduction to Munro’s commercial and acquisition activities. You’ll learn how to research and connect with potential partners, assist in preparing client visits and presentations, and help new accounts start successfully with Munro Frequent international travel is an important part of this role. You’ll visit clients, attend trade fairs, and support events such as Pitti Uomo and CTDA New York — so enjoying discovering new places and cultures is a must.
As a Junior Business developer, you will:
Support the Acquisition Team in identifying, qualifying, and connecting with potential new customers in key international markets;
Research market potential and analyse stores that fit one of the Munro concepts and the possibilities we offer;
Assist in preparing and presenting the Munro vision and product offer to potential partners;
Help onboard new accounts and assist with training and sales activation;
Build and maintain relationships through follow-ups and communication;
Collaborate closely with the Acquisition Team and General Sales Team to share insights and support joint goals;
Gain an in-depth understanding of customer needs, markets, and product opportunities;
Represent Munro at international events, showroom weeks, and trade shows when required;
Learn to take initiative, think analytically, and develop your own plan to reach measurable results.
With clear goals and the support of the Acquisition Team — and based on research into market potential — this junior position offers a defined path to grow into a senior acquisition role within the organization.
About you
You ideally have:
A bachelor’s degree (University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent experience in a related field;
Experience in the fashion industry or a strong passion for it and the ability to learn quickly;
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal;
A proactive, curious, and eager-to-learn mindset — not afraid to approach new people and situations;
The drive to achieve commercial results, combined with analytical thinking and structure;
Resilience and a solution-oriented approach with the customer’s interest always in mind;
The ability to plan, organize, and follow through on tasks and projects;
High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for menswear, craftsmanship, and sales;
A genuine interest in building partnerships and long-term relationships;
