At Munro Tailoring, we are looking for an Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the Customer Operations Team and work closely with customers from around the world, providing support via email and phone. You will collaborate directly with our Sales Team to ensure a seamless customer experience and work cross-functionally with other departments to align initiatives, improve communication, and achieve the best possible results.

About the job

As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in maintaining and enhancing the customer experience for our Dutch partners in the fashion industry. Your mission is to deliver operational excellence, respond quickly to customer needs, and ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction in line with Munro's premium service standards.

You will manage a complex, high-value customer portfolio (with an annual turnover exceeding €4.5 million) and be responsible for everything from garment specifications and fabric selection to logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Strategy

  • Take full ownership of the Dutch B2B customer portfolio, building strong, long-term relationships while ensuring every interaction meets the highest standards of communication and service.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive operational efficiency by managing the entire order process, monitoring (rush) orders, coordinating POS materials, and overseeing shipments to ensure smooth and timely delivery.

Customer Experience & Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries promptly and thoroughly. Proactively resolve complaints and, where appropriate, apply discounts or arrange reproductions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Technical Expertise

  • Use your knowledge of garment construction and fabric selection to advise customers, refine product specifications, and ensure the highest quality of the final products.

Process Improvement & Monitoring

  • Monitor open orders, manage pending requests, and update order information based on customer feedback. Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, cost savings, and overall customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to discuss operational matters, monitor deadlines, and share insights that contribute to continuous improvement and successful collaboration.

About you

  • Experience in the fashion industry or the hospitality/customer service sector;

  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch is a big plus!);

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and previous customer service experience;
